The Woman in the Window

Sept. 6th, 2018

Our first meeting of our new year started off with a bang....A huge thunder and lightning storm hit the neighborhood at about 5:30 with a power shortage.  All of Sawmill was out of power but lucky for us our host had a generator!!!!

The book was :

The Woman in the Window---by AJ Finn

Our host:   Lynne Kudzy

In attendance was a very small but vocal group.

Laura, Pam, Kirsten, Lisa E, Mitra, Lisa H, and our host Lynne and Keiko.

Everyone enjoyed this summer thriller.  We had been reading a series of heavy topics with difficult books all in a row.  This book is what we all needed.  Lots of twists and turns, like the genre of
Gone Girl.

We talked a little about agoraphobia and a few people actually knew people with the affliction.  Mitra guessed the killer was the young man.  I had no idea whatsoever.

We had yummy snacks and a great cake to start the new book club year!    We talked a lot about people listening to books versus reading.  A fascinating subject for sure.

Next month

Oct. 11th--Janet's house

The Red-haired Woman .  by Orhan Pamuk
